I have a PS3 that can't support CFW on 4.82 with HAN, I am going to update to 4.84 HFW to use PS3HEN.
Can someone point me to a guide explaing the best way to update safely?

So few days ago my little brother broke my disc version of gta 5 and tbh i got really pissed off so i installed gta 5 on multiman but after i load up the game the disc version of the game says corrupted data on it and if i try to open it with /app_home/PS3_GAME it just freezes my ps3 and gets stuck in a black screen so i had to unplug the ps3 to restart it and i opened game settings to turn on internal and bd mirror but still it says corrupted data i even renewed the license on the game but...

ok so basically i have this PS3 SuperSlim with HEN, when i tried to run my rip of R&C A Crack In Time it crashed and now i'm stuck on the Recovery Menu cuz i don't have any PS3 controller(i only have a PSMove one but the Recovery Mode just doesn't recognize it) and it will not work with my DS4.
Is there any way to forcefully make the PS3 boot normally or a method to make the DS4 or PSMove controller to work?

Hello, I am new and I am a little lost with all the technical notions, I jailbreak my ps3 NOR then installed the CFW Rebug 4.84-1 cex. I ask for help to tell me what to do or what homebrew installed to play games. I tried to create a .pkg from a rom snes with retroxmb creator then installed the file on my ps3 with a usb key but the games do not boot. Excuse me for my English, I am French.

Hi, today i found out about HEN and want to update system from 4.82 with HAN to 4.84, because from what i know HEN works only on 4.84.

The problem is that i don't wont to break the console or lose games installed using HAN ,so i would be really grateful for any help with that or just link to guide. thanks in advance

Sooo i installed gta 5 and mounted the game after that i get a black screen
i have hen v2 and i tried to play the game by converting it into iso but the disc says unsupported data
and a developer said that the cause of the black screen was the eboot file and it has to be the original one or resign the eboot file so i grabbed the original eboot file and resigned it as well but i still get the black screen...

any help would be appreciated

Hello,

I am trying to install the package manager to install HEN.

I have copied all the HAN supportfiles 484 to the root on the USB stick. Then i tried to initialize HAN Installer but after multiple times of trying it failed every time.

I am running HFW 4.84.2, putted the USB in the right port and have deleted cookies, cache, history etc on the browser.

What am i doing wrong?

Hello.

I am planning to install HAN and then HEN on top of HFW4.84.2 on my PHAT PS3.

In the main HAN instructions thread I read that HAN requires a (throwaway) secondary PSN account activated. I already have this.

After HAN installation, many steps in the instructions require to activate HAN and they say "make sure you are signed-in to your secondary PSN account". Does this mean that HAN connects to PSN every time it is activated? If that's true, does it also...

When i want to use Webman the folders wont appear inside the webman folder (yes i start hen before going into the multiman folder).


Ive tryed reinstalling webman by deleting it from the XMB and deleting the Webman archives using multiman but i havent been able to get it to work.

Hi! I've tried to transfer some files from my pc to ps3 with ftp. On my ps3 i tried first with multiman, then blackb0x, and on pc first with filezilla then with winscp. It always connects to ps3 (logged in, even on multiman appears down in right a ftp logo) but then gives me an error when it tries to retrieve directory listing(failed to retrieve directory listing). What should i do?

I want to play PS3 ISOs on the external HDD. Should I use mmCM to create them from PS3 backups on folder game (JB) format or should I create them using the PS3 Tools Collection's context menu item or PS3 ISO Tools (I think I should select the 4.76 FW on the latter) and afterwards send them to the external HDD's PS3ISO folder? If I use the second or the last will it take less time and later won't even work when trying to load the games on mmCM? I know this might be a stupid question but...

Greets to All

I have a pre-modded system but can not figure out which specific firmware is installed. I know it is modded because

• Gaia is installed, runs fine from internal HDD, and I even FTP'ed a couple of titles no prob
• it came with a few emu's that run correctly
• system also reads of having 3.55 fw installed with a min ver 1.00 :-D

An odd issue I have is that "Install Package Files" is installed to the "Games" menu, but it has no options to choose from...
