PS3 Modding (First Time)

I've seen and read the tutorials hosted and linked to on this forum/website, and I figured now's the time to get some cfw on my ps3 and use multiman to backup all my installed games (plus DLC if possible), but there's just one (maybe 2) slight SNAFU

My ps3 is one of the cech-30xx models (and its at ofw 4.81), therefore impossible to hack or mod; I'd be willing to get another lower model ps3 slim to mod, but I need to know if its possible to take the games from my current ps3 slim, put them...
