Is it possible to copy extracted PKG games directly to PS3?

Hello,

I extracted a PSN PKG game on my pc, then copied its folder (NPEB*****) using FTP to /dev_hdd0/game folder.
However, the game didn't show at all in the PS3 game menu.

So, is it not possible to copy PSN PKG games to PS3 using this method?

Hello! I wanna install HFW to my PS3, and after install PSHEN, here is the problem, i create a folder in a usb(fat32) PS3/UPDATE/ and here i put the HFW, HFW_4.84.2_PS3UPDAT_03_22_2019, i tried updating the sistem with the usb, but it says
No applicable update data was found

I tried rename the .PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP, but it doesent worked, also i tried in recovery mode, but it doesent worked, same error, what can i do?

I've been searching, but couldn't find it.
is there difference in quality between PSN and BD version of same game?
I've noticed PSN are usually smaller, so something must be lost.

The only remote play app I found was for the PS4 and it seems it doesn't work for ps3.

Quick question about ban risk

I have 2 quick questions about ban risk for save my account, the first one is if i play a iso game that have modify files and i play it online the ban risk is the same like playing a iso online with original files? (The others players can not see my modifications) Using psn patch all the time. My other question is if i finish to play online on my cfw can a reduce the ban risk if just after i log in in another ps3 with ofw? Thanks in advance.

I was able to get HAN on my ps3 when I got it a time ago, but the previous owner did not format the system, easy to fix just format the system myself right? Reinstall the latest firmware, and that's it I thought. Oh boy, how wrong I was. The ps3 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth did not work before hand, but since I have the ps3 at my desk it's easy to just plug a Ethernet cable and the controller cable. Apparently, the software install I guess checks for the BT module, if it's not found you will get...

CECHA00 60gb PS3 Shuts off in only one game, YLOD style.

Hi

I recently purchased a used CECHA00 PS3 in working order with the warranty seal intact. Performed the following since purchasing:

- Vaccume internals to rid all the dust
- Replaced the thermal paste on top of the heat sinks
- Installed ReBug 4.81.2 with webman fan utility

Temp status is as follows:
30 mins of GTA 4:
65C CPU // 63C RSX // Fan Speed %30
Dynamic fan set at 67C
PS2 fan set at 33C

What the issue i am having is, that when ever I try to play Tekken Tag 2 the unit will switch...

Play dvdiso movie on Ps3 superslim with Hen 3.0

Hello,I'd like to play dvdiso movie on Ps3 superslim with Hen 3.0,using Webman mod or Multiman.
I copied the dvd in folder format from usb to Ps3 by multiman,that converted it to iso for me,that I can play by Show Time inside Multiman,and Movian installed in the xmb.I can't go forward or rewind the video,why?
Now,in Webman mod menu,where there're ps3 games,ps2,ecc the Dvd item is empty,why?
I can't mount dvd video as I made for the games.
Can you help me?

Ok, just wanted to drop by and let you guys know 1.82 EE is being worked on, I have 80-90% complete.

This release will be coupled with a tool release as well, so people can make there own packs with only a few clicks^_^ This does pc texture .zip, all the way to PS3 .pck. It does a enormous amount of prep work to make the process as easy as possible. Packs that use higher than 32x32 will be scaled down automatically.

downloaded pkgs from dropbox give 8002AE04

One the pkg is downloaded, it tries to install, where it gives the error 8002AE04 error, "an error occured during the install operation"... what's weird is that when i try to install the PKG from my USB/HDD it installs fine. (it's an XMB link. with the following XMBML code. what can I do to fix this error?

PS4 controller cant sync

HELLO!!!
I get today some aftermarket ps4 joy and cant sync even dont work on cable (cable is 100%OK.)
Only way to get this joy work is on cable and only on safe mode.
joy charging, and flash blue light for synch but nothing
try to reset, change flat 12 pin....

Compiled this list from whatever I could find recently.

SLUS20265 is 100% confirmed to work on actual hardware. The rest have been tested in PCSX2 Emulator. If you've done one of these on actual hardware, do say so :)

Replace the listed elf with a copy of uLaunch.elf/wLaunch.elf or similar. Update size and make new ISO. Burn this. Swap your retail disc with burned. (Sensor Blocking required) Trigger elf launch. Soft Mod Success :)...
