POPStarter is a launcher which lets you play your PS1 games in combination with $ony’s PS1 emulator for PS2 (known as “POPS” or “SLBB-00001”).

Remarry issues

Following the tuts in multiple places that all say the same thing I have gotten to the post where my fat PS3 cechg nor console is correctly in service mode on 3.55 nobd,qa toggled,and I'm supposed to power down the console, insert the "remarry USB" into the right most port,power up and let it run . It never runs though .Only boots back into the xmb still in fsm. It DOES see the USB there,it just won't use the files on it at startup .What am I missing? What more info do the console God's need...

I'm just curious. :)

AFAIK, multiMAN and other homebrews create ISO images only from files which are already exposed by BD firmware, right? Which means, all executables are already decrypted and all files are randomly put on LBAs.

Why not implementing 1:1 dumps? Why images cannot be mounted in encrypted form and decrypting it on the fly? In such way, user would just make proper full dump without any modifications to logical structure, right on PC and just transfer it to the console. No...

Hello, i'm having a problem converting my rap file to rif.pkg file using the resigner software.
It says I need the pkg game file in order to convert the rap file to rif file. I downloaded and installed the game directly from the ps3 (HAN) using the ***PlayStation Store*** . I could need some help because suddendly it doesn't work, the others time everything went great and I didn't (NEVER) need the pkg game file...

I heard similiar questions today, so i try to use KaKaRoTo words to explain how hard is this. Sony using ECDSA algorithm to security purposes on Playstation 3, if we break this algorithm we get needed access to almost everything. But is not easy, or maybe even impossible.. Read how it work:

Hey guys, kind of new here, I've found the han method for about a week or so and I've been having fun installing all my games on my ps3 like that. One thing I don't understand is what does Install Game Data From Disc Before DTU mean, and how would I go about it on my ps3 super slim? I've seen many people ask this but not many answers, so if anyone would be kind enough to explain to me if this is possible on my ps3 super slim it would be awesome as I would love to get my MLB up and working...

Hey guys,

I've been wanting to play Yakuza 5 on my slim PS3. I have my .rap backed up and don't want to use PSN to download and install the game.

My slim PS3 is a 160GB model so it's starting to run low on space. I would have enough for the game to install properly.

What is the best way to install multiple PKG files now? I remember merging all of the 6 PKG files into 1 PKG and used the package installer on PS3 a few years back when I installed it on my CECHB01 but that was about three...

Step 1: First make sure u have internet connection enabled in ps3.
Step 2: Go to Internet Connection settings in ps3
Custom > Wired Connection > Auto Detect > Automatic > Do Not Set > Automatic > Automatic > Do not use > Enable.
Step 3: Save and Test The Connection.
Step 4: Now go and connect ps3 to pc via ethernet cable RJ45
Step 5: Now go to pc and click the start button then go to settings.
Step 6: After u go to settings now go to Network & Internet.
Step 7: Go to Change Adapter Options....

OPL LAN issues with Windows 10

Just for heads up, when you want to boot up or just reboot up good old PS2 console and want to enjoy OPL via LAN SMB on Windows 10, you must enable SMB 1.1 back by Turn Windows Feature On or Off. This is due to ransomware attacks that were using SMB1 exploits to sabotage your PC via SMB network, so M$ had to turn it off via the latest update.
