Reliable BC PS3 Fat

Hi guys, from personal experience, wich is the most reliable BC Fat Ps3? The early CECHA models with real EE chip or the later CECHC models with emulated EE chip? Japanese or EU or USA version of the console? I would like to purchase a used one. Also Ps2 BC is region locked on these models? Thank you.

Hi everyone. I have recently been ripping some of my original PS3 discs with multiMAN, deleting the update folder to save a bit extra space and then moving them to the GAMES folder on my FAT32 partition on my USB external drive (I also have a smaller NTFS partition, for larger files), playing them in JB folder format via webMAN MOD.

I was reading a thread the other day (I can't remember which one it was, however) where a few users were talking about the benefits of ISO over JB folder,...

Ps2 emulation on PS4 is handled in very different way comparing to PS3. Emulator seems to be more open for configurations. We can basically change anything we want. Here comes kudos to developers, as many of this options are here to bring you 1:1 emulation. They implemented settings that can change almost everything in way how game is recompiled. Thread, and first post are constantly updated with knowledge that I'm gaining right now.

Error 80029517 While Initializing Games

Hi,
I have a PS3 Superslim and i have installed a few games through HAN and they have been working well so far.
But today, this error (80029517) has been appearing and I can't fix it.
All the games I have installed stopped working (even the ones that i bought through PSN) except for two
(Far Cry 4 and FIFA 18).
Can you help me fix this problem?
Evertime I turn on my PS3 i use HAN Enabler, so that isn't the problem.

PS2 Save Builder is a program to extract any save games into a folder and transfer them into a flash drive.
You can use w\uLaunchElf to transfer it on a memory card.

This is how you get game saves:
  1. Go to http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2.

Ideal temps for CECH-A00?

I have standard fan speed of 28% in webman. Temps on xmb usually:

CELL 63
RSX 55

Dynamic fan control set at 67degrees Celsius
Usually does a pretty good job of never reaching that, or if it does, it cools right down back to 65-67. Fan speed never above 34% when dynamic kicks in

However I played uncharted last night for the first time on the unit and the unit reached 40-45% fan speed while dynamic control did not allow the temp past 68. But the unit was very loud.

I am wondering if this...

PS3 Shutdown while using FTP

I was trying to transfer my games on my ps3 to my pc but every time I do my ps3 shuts down at some point. I don't know when but I was transferring very large files. Filezilla just gave me a server timed out error when the ps3 turns off. How can I prevent that from happening?

Need help with getting SNES emulator working on HAN

I followed the tutorial in the all in one guide to an absolute T, but whenever i try to play it after installing, i get an error 80029513 saying the copyright protection information is invalid. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is? Han is enabled, and like i said, i folled every instruction given to the T. So im lost.

Mount the dev_blind using FTP or Multiman
1) Transfer the all the PS3 PRO files to its respective folders dev_blind for the Modded system files

Hi

I recently purchased a used CECHA00 PS3 in working order with the warranty seal intact. Performed the following since purchasing:

- Vaccume internals to rid all the dust
- Replaced the thermal paste on top of the heat sinks
- Installed ReBug 4.81.2 with webman fan utility

Temp status is as follows:
30 mins of GTA 4:
65C CPU // 63C RSX // Fan Speed %30
Dynamic fan set at 67C
PS2 fan set at 33C

What the issue i am having is, that when ever I try to play Tekken Tag 2 the unit will switch...
