The guys of DCHDMI are also working on a PS2HDMI!!!

This does NOT include any analog-digital-conversion, but is tapping (directly) into the digital signal(s) right before the DACs and creates an HDMI-compliant digital signal!

This could yield an even better quality than the best component-cables or any of the cheap Chinese HDMI-Adapters!

This could even produce a better quality than a Framemeister or OSSC (in theory)!
I am not sure how well de-interleaced content would look like, compared...

I went into the /dev_rebug/vsh/resource/ folder as you all would to get your RCO's, i got those fine, decompiled them with RCOmage, edited the XML's, then i recompiled them. That all went fine, but i put them all back onto my PS3, still with rebug toolbox open and i put them in the /dev_rebug/vsh/resource/ folder, and i went to check if they had changed, and not one single bit had changed.

So you ask, why did i create this Thread?
I created this thread to get some help and advise of people...

So today's a friend of mine Come to me that he brough a Ps3 with non working drive if i can look on it. I trough ok no problem. So i check the drive and the only problém was that the drive was not picking the disc and spin it. After furher inspection i managed to find the culprit of the problem. There was a missing link arm and bench of screews. Scam i thinked my self and I almost cable the friend that he need a New drive because i dont have one at the time. And then i realized i could make...

I've been using the PS3 TrophyIsGood for a long time, but every time I use it I have to go to the game to do the checksum, unless I restore the database I wish there was a way to do the checksum without having to enter the game or restore the database, is this possible? my internal hd is full and takes time to restore ...

Hi everyone,

I was on vacation in Turkey (nice place btw). There were some PS3s which you can play. I decided to look at one. It was a superslim which has pre-installed games. Has no ODE installed and no logged-in PSN account. And even two or three games has references to some other sites like chepgameps3 (a vietnamese website). So, they cannot be installed from PSN. HEN was not installed and you can start games directly after turning on the console. I believe it was impossible to jailbreak...

I really need some serious help over here, try answer all my questions.
Well, I have a PS3 Slim 320Gb, It's jailbreaked 4.84 CFW (Rebug Rex Edition) with multiMAN & webMAN Mod INSTALLED.
And I want to know: I downloaded some games on PKG format (they work 100% on HAN), will they work on CFW just fine? (+ they're less than 4Gb).
And for the up to 4GB files, how do I should Install them in the easiest way possible (they're also in PKG format)?

I have two PS3s. One is a phat I just modded with the ps3exploit and the other is a slim I got years ago and modded by updating to 3.55 (can't remember how I did it I just remember it was important to get one lower than 3.55). Both are on the latest 4.84.1 lite rebug for CEX machines.

Anyway I'm loading up the phat's 1.5TB drive with games and was wondering, since the slim also has a empty 1.5TB drive, when I'm done could I simply clone the phat's drive to the slim's one? I have one of...

Hello,
so my topic basically explains everything. My PS3 shuts off itself and beeps on more demanding games in a first minutes of the gameplay (games that I tried and they crashed: GTA V, Red Dead Redemption, Monopoly Plus). When other simple games works for hours just fine (Castle Crashers, Spelunky, Minecraft aswell). What else could be the issue here?

Things I tried:
Switching to another HDD (formatted both of them)
Controlling the fan to keep 60°C temperature
Factory resetting the...

My ps3 is a CECH-G01, I jailbroke it by using then hen method but since the BD is busted i used a non BD version of the latest rebug.

I installed the basic hombrew, and played a few games before it just stopped loading the games with webman.
Now it just says there was an error with finding the games config files, i tried using managunz but it kept failing.

does anyone know a way to make these files manually? other threads on this seemed confusing to me.
i kinda just want to play THUG and...

My PS2 Slim is doing a lot of noise (I don't know and I'm afraid of opening it to clean it and/or replace the thermal pads) and after changing the original composite cables for component ones the TV screen flickers (it goes back and returns to normal) for some seconds (it does this a lot of times). I no longer have the original composite cables.
