I need some help with something if there is anyone out there interested and capable.

I happened to make a possibly interesting discovery the other day by pure chance. I was playing with whats new, and I turned on the Quick Preview option found in the context menu (press triangle on the icon). Well at the same time I had debug output from socat open on my PC and I happened to see it start scanning all usb ports for a PS3/WSCREEN/ folder.

hi, im quiet new here and english isnt my native language, so i hope you can forgive me with my bad speech.

I have an PS3 3004A on 4.85.1 but the problem showed before on 4.84 hfw (updated because i thougt i can solve the problem and did something wrong)

I need to know how I need to burn PS2 isos in order for them to work on the ps3 because my attempts have just lead to the disc loading to a black screen then going back to the XMB.

Is there an N64 emulator for the PS3?

I would love to take a peek at the files that composes the XMB of the Sony PSX console
Just by looking at it i can tell is made by using the same "construction blocks" than the XMB of PSP and PS3, is not just the icons and how it moves, also the "display modes" for every "contruction block" are the same
There are too much coincidences, like the system settings screen with the installed firmware version, MAC address, IP......

I have a bit of a weird one. I have three PS2 consoles here.

A 30003 which is causing me issues.
A 50003 Aqua blue one.
Another black one i can't remember.

The 30003 will not boot a SATA drive with the Gamestar network adapter, it will not boot my Original network adapter with a SATA mod. It will boot my original adapter with IDE drive.

If i use freemcboot i can get into OPL and it shows the games on the drive with a SATA one but it will not boot the game it just black screens.

I have some of questions from PS4 jailbreak
As I read, PS4 can only be hacked with OFW versions 4.84 or 5.05.
My questions are:
1. Can I we downgrade the OFW which is higher than 5.05 as like 6.7 or not ?!
2. Can PS3 games run on be PS4 jailbreak ?! I mean convert games and compress them into pkg and then install them on PS4 ?! Or not possible ?!
3-Can by PS4 jailbreak download all games from the store to ps for free ?!

Hi, so I just got my 3rd party adapter for my PS2 (SCPH-5006), I also got component cables and plugged and set up a 500gb drive with my backups. But there's a very annoying problem with most games: they don't play correctly, and every few frames (whenever it wants really) the game decides to stutter. I thought this could only happen when playing from USB and in cutscenes, but in my case it happens during gameplay too, making gaming pretty much unplayable. Hope anyone can help, thanks from...

It's new and it's the first release so it probably has bugs, use it at your OWN RISK, it seems fine in tests. If you have any issues please report them here and I will try and fix them when I get spare time.
