Updating from 4.82 ( with han installed) to 4.84 HFW

Sup folks! I'm very happy to hear that the Homebrew enabler has finally arrived to the non CFW supported
PS3s, I've been told that in order to trigger HEN activation I must be on 4.84, well, no problem, but my only concern is whether if I can right away just install the HFW 4.84 version, or I should proceed into performing a factory reset to to wipe Han from the console?

Please Advice.

Power Options for all CFW.

Should work universally on all CFW.

Before anyone asks, no it wont work on HAN OFW.



Adds options for rebooting, rebuilding database etc. Also installs a Reload XMB pkg and Boot otherOS pkg to dev_hdd0/packages/, install those if you want those features on the menu.

Also this calls the poweroff plugin in a different way, so it does not ask for confirmation (thanks esc0rtd3w...

So, im kind new with all that ps xploit. I did the han thing with my PS3, then I did the CFW. Installed my games, some mod menus and everything worked fine. But I wanted to go online, so I installed PSNPatch and did the IDPS thinking it was the spoof. After the IDPS my PS3 restarted but freezed on startup. I entered recovery menu and tryed to rebuild database but it freezed, so I entered recovery menu multiple times trying everything but nothing works.. Or it got stuck at preparing or...

Please help me with PSNPatch, really....

Problem launching game multiman hen 4.84

Hi,
when I try to launch a game using multiman, in xmb menu appear damaged data with break dvd icon or the console stuck on black after launching.
I try some different game and set internal and bd mirror but it doesn't work.
Anyone can help me?

If you have been banned from using this tool, comment on what application you were using If you were using PS3HEN disabled and logged in to PSN but you still banned it, if you used any fraudulent method while logged in to PSN, etc. REMEMBERING IT'S EXCLUSIVE ONLY FOR PS3 HEN CASES.

Auto han enabler freezes

I'm running into this issue here, today morning tried enabling Han enabler from toolbox, it says "enabling han"
"Xploit initialization and when it reaches 30% it freezes"
But when entering browser and enabling HAN from ps3xploit.com it works, what can i do?

My question is pretty much the title. Is it possible to play 3do, Sega CD or Sega 32X Roms on Retroarch on the PS3?

I tried playing Atari Jaguar Roms and it caused my system to crash so bad I cant use Retroarch at all anymore. I'm not looking to install the most problematic Roms that are crashy, I just will avoid them. has anyone had any success with these 3 consoles?

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to play a backup and when the game starts the message "Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will quit (80022D81)" comes up.

Do you know how could I solve that issue?

I have a PS3 (Super slim with Hen and Multiman installed)

Mame 2003 Blackscreen Issue

Hi. I have RetroArch 1.7.6 installed on my Slim PS3 and have been trying to get Spider-Man: The Video Game (1991) to run on MAME2003. I have the correct rom version for this romset (spidey.zip) and the game does appear to boot up. However, once I get past the disclaimer, all I get is a black screen. I’ve tried tweaking several settings to no avail. Has anyone encountered this same issue with this game and is there a way to resolve it? Thanks.

(Solved) PS3 Slim CFW Green light then nothing

Hi all,

Today just installed new Rebug CFW and was transferring my games via FTP then i switched it off. About an hour later i try to switch it back on and the green light comes on for one second max then no light shows, nothing. I tried a different power lead and it is the same, took the HDD out and still the same. Does anyone know what is going on here? thanks.

My ISP is extremely restrictive and won't let me get on to ps3exploit(dot)com to install HEN. Am I SOL?

Edit: Thanks everyone, I figured it out. For the lurkers, if you have the most updated HAN toolbox (0.7.1 or higher), enable han offline, go to Advanced Tools, select Flash Mounter. It's an offline script so you don't need to create a web server to bypass a sh*t ISP. Then your set to install ps3hentai.pkg and HEN_Offline.pkg
